As I glaced from my window outside last night, a heavy, dusty black curtain covered the Earth's stage. Tiny stars glistened randomly dotting the curtain like specks of shiney lint. Hung low in center stage, a hugh spotlight of a moon, shutter open, cast an enormous beam of light illuminating the darkness. A hazy halo skirting the outer edges of the bright moon evoked a magical nuance. The audience of maple trees, boney arms outstretched, created shadows across the brilliant bulb of light, shadows becoming tiny fissures snaking haphazardly. Suspended in time, Earth's stage awaited the opening of the curtain upon Act I of a new day.
I'm off to carry the torch of learning into the science classroom. Have a wondersul Friday, my friends, and say a little prayer for the wiley substitute that she might set a good example and do no harm to those around her today. Speak with you later.

Wow. Such a descriptive narrative to capture the attention of the reader! I love it! Now, I await the telling of the action that unfolded throughout Act 1.
